Known as the major problem common in developing countries is poverty, a

significant root of social injustice. Poverty means lack, thus linked to how people defined

their basic needs. In rich countries, the poor have better standard of life than that of the

third world's. They are supported by government, at least they have roof over their heads

and food in their stomachs. Once simply physical hunger cannot be appeased, chances

to access to education, or information are automatically reduced, hence foreshadowing

the better live alternatives they are supposed to be eligible for as world citizens.

Realizing that poverty is a severe root of many other problems, governments tried

to remedy such deficiency providing their population food, basic health facilities,

primary education, clean drinking water, sanitation and housing as much as possible.

But how much poor people can expect from poor government ? It is quite usual that the

country has to ask for a loan from international financial institutions. Sometimes this

cause intervention from external organization to the country's economic institution.

When the money was spent chiefly to eliminate hunger and shortage of basic needs to

maintain lives day by day rather than invest in remunerative business, if regarded as an

individual, how could one pay back his debt while his job normally fails to yield him

daily food and shelter. The interest accrues, and pay back time is calculated to be

generations, generations with poverty and... more debt.
